在搜索搜救任务中,贝尔407系列近4个小时的续航时间和高可靠性保证了各类作业的顺利进行,超过25年的卓越运营更是使得贝尔407系列直升机拥有丰富的选装设备以适配各类任务需求。为了进一步确保运营安全,贝尔407GXi还拥有Foresight MX健康与使用监控系统(HUMS),该方案显著降低了HUMS系统的使用门槛,使得中小运营商也可以通过HUMS系统进行科学的、系统化的直升机运营管理。

在中国,贝尔407是最受市场欢迎的直升机机型之一,目前,中国正引领贝尔407系列直升机的最新型号贝尔407GXi的全球交付。

2020年,贝尔407中国独家销售代理陕直股份在海拔高度5300米的唐古拉山山口进行了贝尔407GXi的高原演示飞行,该机在高高海拔地区展现出优异的操纵性,此外,贝尔407还是同级机型中唯一一款具备IFR运行能力的直升机,进一步帮助运营商创造价值。

贝尔407直升机在中国拥有完善的售后支持和保障网络,位于江苏省镇江市的贝尔中国服务中心(MRO)能够为贝尔407系列直升机提供翻新、维护、维修及大修、改装升级等服务。此外,2018年,贝尔指定南航通航成为贝尔407直升机授权维修中心(AMC)。2019年至今,贝尔和南航通航多次合作,利用南航通航优势资源为中国客户开展本地化的培训服务。
